Associates Kyle Quackenbush, Anupama Reddy, and Christopher Young attended a Federal Pro Bono Project (“FPBP”) reception hosted by the United States District Court for the Northern District of California and Bar Association of San Francisco’s Justice & Diversity Center (“JDC”).

The reception, held at the United States District Courthouse in San Francisco, thanked firms and attorneys who have shown tremendous commitment to pro bono service in the past year.

Kyle, Anupama, and Christopher are volunteers for the FPBP, which arranges pro bono counsel for litigants who are referred for appointment of counsel by the Court. Cases range greatly and can include employment discrimination, police misconduct, and foreclosure. Along with full-scope representation opportunities, which often include cases ready for trial, the FPBP offers cases for limited-scope representation, including settlement conferences before magistrate judges.

The JDC has been making meaningful change in people’s lives, using its unique blend of legal services and social work, since 1977. It provides pro bono legal services to underserved San Francisco residents, communities, and organizations that serve these populations. It provides these services via volunteer attorneys, paralegals, law students, college students, social workers and other qualified professionals.
