# Joseph Saveri Law Firm Shortlisted for Chambers Diversity & Inclusion Awards: North America 2021

The Joseph Saveri Law Firm LLP has been shortlisted as an “Outstanding Firm for *Pro Bono*” for the [Chambers Diversity & Inclusion Awards: North America 2021](https://diversity.chambers.com/event/chambers-diversity-inclusion-awards-north-america-2021-2/). These awards celebrate the fantastic achievements of firms and individuals who are furthering the advancement of diversity and inclusion across the USA and Canada.

The 2021 award winners will be announced virtually this year on Thursday, June 17. This will take place at an awards ceremony celebrating key achievements within the market, and featuring keynote speeches and performances. It will shine a light on the trailblazing diversity, inclusion, and* pro bono* work carried out by organizations and individuals.

The Firm has a strong commitment to [*pro bono* representation](https://www.saverilawfirm.com/pro-bono/). We frequently work with the Northern District of California’s Federal *Pro Bono* Project, which operates in conjunction with the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Justice and Diversity Center (JDC). Among other activities, the JDC provides *pro bono* services to underserved San Francisco residents and communities, and the organizations that serve them. Many cases involve federal civil rights violations. Appointments may be for full-scope representation for the duration of a case or for limited purposes, e.g., representation at a settlement conference or hearing on a motion to dismiss. Many of our attorneys donate their time to this beneficial project. We have received court praise for our “excellent” work at achieving successful results for our clients. Various firm attorneys have received certificates of appreciation and other awards from the JDC.

Since 2012, the Chambers team have conducted in-depth research and hosted numerous diversity seminars across the USA which include events and awards in both New York and Miami. This year’s awards provide the opportunity to shine the spotlight on role models and trailblazers in *pro bono *and corporate social responsibility as well as inclusion.
