Ahmari Johnson

Ahmari Johnson is a technologically savvy paralegal with expertise in Westlaw, e-filing, legal research, and document preparation. He is skilled in litigation support, court processes, and compliance, and is adept at managing legal documentation and providing support for various legal teams. His experience working as a paralegal with the U.S Cyber Command, while in the United States Army, is particularly relevant to his work at the firm, where he focuses on its high-profile technology-related cases.

Ahmari joined the firm from a paralegal specialist position at the Global Solutions Group at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services in San Francisco. While there, he managed the Federal Medical Care Recovery Act program; analyzed wrongful death cases; supported litigation by preparing reports on Medicare's role in insurance defense cases, subrogation claims, and settlements; collaborated with agencies to ensure compliance with EEO, ADA, and other regulations; and drafted settlements, legal correspondence, and court submissions for EEO cases and federal employment matters. 

While at the Department of Health and Human Services, Ahmari was on a team that investigated Laguna Honda for its mistreatment of patients. The team’s actions led to the formation of an oversight committee and reforms that improved the quality of life for Laguna Honda’s patients. 

Previously, Ahmari was a paralegal specialist for the United States Army at Fort Lee, Virginia. He is an alumni of the Judge Advocate General's Corps. He is also a former intellectual property legal assistant for a San Francisco-based global law firm where his work dealt with insurance coverage litigation and IP law.
