She is a team player and can collaborate seamlessly with her case teams, including delegating work as well as stepping in on case work whenever and wherever needed.
Ashleigh has a decade of high-level litigation para-professional work success for mid-sized law firms, with substantial trial and litigation experience involving large-scale complex litigations. She has comprehensive proficiency with state and federal court practices and procedures in many jurisdictions, including California and Nevada. Her skills cover trial practice, drafting, e-discovery, and case and document management. She has provided support for attorneys/cases on a proactive and independent basis, as well as offering guidance and support to junior paralegals.
Ashleigh comes to the firm from Boies Schiller Flexner LLP, where, attributable to her drive and aptitude, she progressed from a receptionist to a paralegal to a case manager. She was responsible for an active case load that included multiple corporate defense and class action litigations in both state and federal court and arbitrations. She managed case portfolios from complaint filings to trials, mediations, or settlements, and was responsible for all court filings. She participated in court at five trials with mixed litigation teams and prepared cases for all hearings and/or arbitration proceedings. Her other diverse responsibilities included managing case discovery, conducting legal research, and overseeing file management.
Prior to her Boies Schiller Flexner LLP tenure, Ashleigh Jensen was a paralegal/legal assistant at three Bay Area law offices where she prepared legal documents, managed case discovery and deadlines, and assisted attorneys in all phases of litigation.
