Steven Lichtenberger

Steven Lichtenberger is the Firm’s information technology manager. He is a seasoned IT director and Chief information officer with extensive leadership experience in law firm IT management, specializing in litigation support, network infrastructure, planning and conducting operational and information audits, automation, workflow planning, helpdesk, and contract negotiation. He possesses a unique talent to take technical and complex IT and litigation problems and communicate them to a diverse audience, making the solutions understandable while being very cognizant of cost.

As a former IT director of a 200-user network at Oliff PLC, Steven oversaw the successful implementation of IT infrastructure across three offices, including project management planning, technology budgeting, and forecasting, development of security policies and procedures, and management of IT staff and litigation support personnel. He was responsible for overseeing all litigation support activities, including providing recommendations to clients, directing contract attorneys, consulting on trial preparation, and selecting litigation software.

Prior to Oliff PLC, Steven was the chief information officer for AKO. He monitored all aspects of administration and operation of its New York City IT department and five branch offices. Among his many responsibilities, he supervised the administration of a 300-user network, project management planning, integration, and development of policies and procedures pertaining to firmwide technology.

Steven also spent over a decade as Woodcock Washburn’s IT director. He managed all aspects of administration and operation of the IT department, including network administration of a 250-user network, project management, planning, and integration and development of policies pertaining to firm-wide technology.

Steven’s education background consists of Microsoft server coursework, business continuity pursued through Temple University City Center, litigation strategies studies via Perfect Access Speer, and hands-on learning and experience gathered from his various IT roles. He is a member of the International Legal Technology Association and the Association of Legal Administrators.
