Charles Pite has over seven years of paralegal experience and joined the firm’s New York City office in 2026.
After graduating from Connecticut College, Charles sought a position where he could apply knowledge obtained through his neuroscience degree and explore the field of law, ultimately choosing to work at a plaintiffs’ personal injury firm. From there, he developed a curiosity for other fields of law and began working in securities and antitrust litigation. He became fascinated by antitrust and competition law and noticed the significant impact of the practice on not only the firms’ clients, but the consumer population as a whole.
Charles arrived at the firm from the plaintiffs’ litigation firm of Motley Rice LLC, in New York City, where he was a paralegal in securities and antitrust litigation. While there, he drafted various legal documents, handled filing and administrative duties, reviewed SEC filings, conducted case and legal research, and prepared attorneys for depositions and trial. Prior to this, he was a senior litigation paralegal (drugs and medical devices litigation) for a New York City-based plaintiffs’ firm, where he managed relationships with thousands of clients, colleagues, opposing counsel, vendors, and expert witnesses. He also drafted legal documents and correspondence; prepared memorandum related to court filings, prospective cases, and litigation issues for partners; and assisted with other various discovery and settlement-related paralegal tasks.
While attending college, he was a student researcher in AI-related topics in the school’s summer research program. He has passed the Securities Industry Essentials FINRA-sponsored exam for prospective securities industry professionals.
