Drew Morgan joined the firm as a post-bar law graduate and was admitted to the California bar in December 2025. Since arriving, he has primarily worked on generative AI litigation, which he has excelled at and enjoys litigating. He particularly appreciates this practice area because the limited amount of legal precedent allows attorneys the opportunity to employ novel theories to address unique issues.
Drew was drawn to the legal field because it provides the chance to make a legitimate societal change and protect the peoples’ fundamental rights. Since starting his career, he has always been on the plaintiffs’ side of the law, relishing the opportunity to provide direct and observable positive outcomes for those who have been wronged.
While attending law school, Drew served as a legal intern in the Workers’ Compensation Defense Department of the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office, at which he drafted memos to develop novel legal theories for a variety of affirmative defenses, researched the Labor Code and corresponding case law, and drafted a research paper regarding a unique area of Workers’ Compensation procedure. He was also a law clerk for San Francisco-based tenants’ rights and workers’ rights firms. Prior to law school, he was a legal intern for the Denver-based Workplace Counsel (employment law).
During law school, Drew was senior managing editor of the UC Law Journal and a Provost’s Scholarship Recipient. He received the CALI award for achieving the highest grade in his legal research and writing course. He also served on the executive board of the Plaintiffs’ Law Association and was a member of the Business Law Society.
