Michelle Walker joined the firm in 2026 as controller. She brings a combination of public accounting and advisory and in-house controller experience across various industries including direct support of attorney and law firm clients.
Michelle has extensive experience in management accounting and operations leadership, specializing in financial reporting, growth and restructuring, technical accounting, and attestation services. In her previous positions, she managed all aspects of accounting operations, multi-entity consolidations, and implemented systems, and partnered with executive leadership to support growth, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Prior to joining the firm, Michelle served as accounting manager/CPA and audit lead for Scott B. Price & Company LLP certified public accountants in San Francisco. While there, she designed the firm’s Statement on Quality Management Standards system under the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) emerging framework. For five years before that, she was controller for Greenlots (Shell New Energies) (Oakland) and Bleach Group USA Holdings (Venice, California). She has also served in administrative and finance roles for two Bay Area bioscience firms.
Michelle is a licensed California CPA. She is a member of the California Society of CPAs (CalCPA), AICPA, the Association of Legal Administrators, and the Association of Legal Administrators, Golden Gate Chapter.
Michelle volunteers as an animal foster, and for habitat and nature restoration projects with various Bay Area organizations. She has also volunteered with San Francisco Parks Alliance and Friends of Strawberry Hill to restore monarch butterfly habitats within Golden Gate Park.
