# Joseph Saveri Selected to Best Lawyers in America

For the tenth consecutive year, [Joseph Saveri](https://saverilawfirm.com/attorneys/joseph-r-saveri/) was selected for inclusion in *The* *Best Lawyers in America*, which recognizes the top 5% of private practicing lawyers in the United States. Joe was honored in the “Mass Tort Litigation/Class Action-Plaintiffs” and “Litigation-Antitrust” categories.

For over three decades, *Best Lawyers *lists have been compiled via exhaustive peer-reviewed surveys of thousands of leading lawyers. Attorneys named to *Best Lawyers in America* were recognized by their peers in the legal industry for their professional excellence in 148 practice areas. For the 2021 edition, over 11 million votes were analyzed, which resulted in 112,282 leading lawyers being included in the new edition. *Best Lawyers* peer-reviewed listings are now published in almost 78 countries around the world.

*Best Lawyers* was founded in 1981 with the purpose of highlighting the extraordinary accomplishments of those in the legal profession. The process begins when attorneys are nominated for consideration. They are then divided by geographic region and practice areas, and are evaluated by their peers on the basis of professional expertise. Those who receive high peer reviews undergo an authentication process to make sure they are currently practicing and in good standing. If the votes for a lawyer are positive enough for recognition in *The Best Lawyers in America*, that lawyer must maintain those votes in subsequent polls to remain in each edition.
