TEAGAN DANILOWICZ
Teagan joined the San Francisco office on May 18 and will be with the firm until August 21. She has completed her second year of law school at the University of Minnesota Law School. She is involved with the Minnesota Journal of International Law, the International Law Society (secretary), and Law in Practice (student instructor). She obtained a B.S. in international affairs (minor in German), summa cum laude, from Florida State University, and studied abroad in Madrid.
Teagan has been a student extern with the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General and is currently a student assistant with International Programs at the University of Minnesota Law School. Her other experiences include being chair of the Presidential Scholar’s Diversity and Inclusion Board and a research assistant at Florida State University. She is a former youth scholar for the Congress Bundestag Youth Exchange in Dreierwalde, Germany.
Teagan has conversational fluency and limited professional proficiency in German.
NOAH HAKIM
Noah joined our San Francisco office on May 26 and will be here through July 31.
Noah has completed his first year of law school at the University of Minnesota Law School. He has been awarded a Jones Day full-tuition scholarship and has been a representative in the Law and Economics Student Society and active in the Muslim Law Student Association and law school men’s basketball. At San Diego State, he earned a B.A. in Economics (minor in Statistics). B.S. in Management Information Systems, and B.A. in Religious Studies (minor in Arabic and Islamic Studies). While there, he was on the Dean’s List and active in student government. He was President of the Middle Eastern and North African Student Union, Vice President of the Refugee Aid Initiative, Co-Founder/Secretary of the National Arab American Medical Association, and a Student Appointee of the Blue-Ribbon Task Force on Islamophobia.
Noah has been a financial analyst for the Community Health Group in Chula Vista and Cabrillo Center for Rheumatic Disease (Infusion Drug Therapy) in San Diego. Collectively in these positions, he has prepared financial reports, completed compliance audits, and conducted market research. Prior to that, he was an administrative assistant for ACRC Studies LLC in Poway, where he summarized notes of Clinical Trial Agreements with Pfizer, AbbVie, and GSK for administrators.
Noah is conversational in Arab.
SALMA GHALYOUN
Salma Ghalyoun joined the firm’s New York office on June 15. She will be here through August 14.
Salma has completed her second year of law school at Temple’s University Beasley School of Law. She has been awarded a Beasley Scholar--full tuition merit-based scholarship and has been involved with the Women’s Law Caucus, Environmental Law Society, and law school intramural soccer team. She earned her B.A. in International Studies from DePaul University, at which she was in the Phi Dela Honors Society and a Fullbright Scholarship Grantee, studying abroad in Turkey and Malaysia.
Salma is a former legal intern for the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Bureau. Previously, she was a judicial intern (rotations in Appellate, Domestic Relations, and Criminal Law) for the State of Illinois Circuit Court of Cook County, a paralegal for two Chicago-based firms, a Director of Economic Development for the city of Chicago Chamber of Commerce, and a legislative aide for Cook County Commissioner Bridget Degnen.
Salma is a former Associate Board Member of the Carole Robertson Center (Chicago), where she supported intercultural and low-income member programs through committee fundraising campaigns, event planning, coordinating volunteer engagement, and marketing center initiatives for visibility and donations.
