Joseph Saveri Named “Top Intellectual Property Lawyer 2026” by the California Daily Journal

(Daily Journal) Joseph Saveri of the Saveri Law Firm, LLP has been selected by the California Daily Journal as among the “Top Intellectual Property Lawyers” in California.

Joe was profiled in a special supplement contained in the May 20, 2026, Daily Journal newspaper and website formats. The supplement honored all selectees and featured a range of articles on intellectual property-related litigation topics.

Joe was recognized for his leadership of the firm’s filing of several innovative generative artificial intelligence-related lawsuits. These novel, cutting-edge cases are on behalf of classes of artists, coders, and authors who allege their creative work is being illegally appropriated by various technology companies’ artificial intelligence and machine learning technology without consent, credit, compensation, or transparency. Cases profiled included GitHub and Copilot Intellectual Property Litigation and AI Image Generator - Copyright Litigation.

These cases “are of profound importance to my clients as well as society more broadly,” Joe said in an interview for the profile. “Making sure [my clients’] work is protected was very important to me. It still is.”

Joe was previously selected for this honor in 2026. He, his firm, and his firm’s attorneys have received many Daily Journal California-related awards, including Top 100 Lawyers, Top Plaintiff Lawyers, Top Antitrust Lawyers, CLAY Award—California Lawyer Attorney of the Year, Top Boutiques, Leading Commercial Litigators, Top Artificial Intelligence Lawyers, and Top 40 Under 40.

Joe and the firm are grateful for this comprehensive recognition from the Daily Journal. It affirms our mission to successfully obtain the best results for our clients.
