David Seidel Promoted To Joseph Saveri Law Firm, LLP Partnership

San Francisco, CA | The Joseph Saveri Law Firm, LLP is proud to announce that David Seidel has been elevated to its partnership.

“David is a tremendous asset to our firm. As a gifted young lawyer, he is poised for a remarkable career,” said firm founder and CEO, Joseph Saveri. “His work is top notch, he collaborates successfully with co-counsel and the courts, and he is experienced beyond his years. David’s well-deserved partnership, as with Christopher Young’s 2023 partnership promotion, reflects our firm’s commitment to training and advancing the next generation of antitrust lawyers. It also demonstrates our rapid growth and prestige as evidenced by the addition of two lateral partners—Ronnie Seidel Spiegel and Cadio Zirpoli—over the past two years.”

David joined the firm in 2022. His practice focuses on litigating antitrust and consumer protection class actions. He was previously an associate at a large corporate law firm where he received significant litigation experience and invaluable mentorship in a broad-based practice.

While with the firm, David has worked on many of its most prominent cases. On the Varsity All Star and Scholastic Cheer Market Price-Fixing Litigation, he has been a key player in developing strategy and briefing, including numerous motions regarding discovery, class certification, and summary judgment, which are currently pending Court determination. He has likewise been directly involved in motion strategy and briefing in Medical Center Employee No-Poach Litigation. The firm also recently filed a high-profile suit on behalf of gamers who would be adversely affected by reduced competition in the video game industry as a consequence of Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard, Inc. David has been instrumental in the case’s development and strategy, including briefing and arguing before the Court against Microsoft’s motion to dismiss and on plaintiffs’ motion for preliminary injunction.

David has been selected by Best Lawyers as “One to Watch” for 2023 and 2024. Also, in 2023, he was selected as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers and by Lawdragon for its “500X – The Next Generation” guide.

David is also deeply committed to providing pro bono legal representation on compelling cases to those who cannot afford it. Through his pro bono work, he has represented Guatemalan and Cuban refugees fleeing violence and persecution in their claims for asylum, and represented veterans in seeking entitlement to benefits and discharge status upgrades. In November 2023, he was profiled in the California Daily Journal for successfully petitioning the Navy to upgrade a Marine Corps veteran’s 50-year old “bad conduct” discharge on clemency grounds, based on contemporary marijuana standards.

The firm appreciates David’s tremendous contributions to date and looks forward to his continued successes as a member of the firm’s leadership.
